The ruins of Vesime Castle occupy the hill above the village and preserve the image of a fortification that for centuries controlled the Bormida Valley. Even in ruins, the complex remains the village's main historical landmark.

On the hill, imposing sections of walls and a tower that belonged to the external defense system, later restored, can be seen. The ruins allow us to understand the castle's original size.
