The Church of San Martino is Paroldo's main religious building. Its current form tells a story of expansions and renovations, with a façade transformed in the early 20th century and an interior dedicated to the community's devotion.
The visit allows you to discover a heritage less known than the great churches of the Langhe, but closely connected to the identity of the town and the figure of Saint Martin.
What to see
The façade features a central body in eclectic style, with a portal, pilasters, a tympanum, pointed mullioned windows , and a niche with a statue of St. Martin giving a blessing. On the right side stands the bell tower, topped by an octagonal cella.
The interior has a single nave with side chapels and vaulted ceilings. The presbytery houses a painting of Saint Martin attributed to the Mondovì painter Francesco Toscano.
