Negro Herbalist
Three generations of herbal tradition and knowledge have been passed down in Cessole. The business was started in 1940 by Teodoro Negro (the Cessole resident).
A herbalist who graduated from the University of Pavia in the same year. Over time, the herbalist's shop, which has managed to maintain its "charm" suspended between past and present, between tradition and innovation, has been carried forward by Dr. Piera Matilde Negro, herbalist and daughter of the founder, and now by her granddaughter (daughter of the daughter), Dr. Enrica Marchioni, pharmacist. The herbalist's strong point has always been the personalized herbal tea prepared for the needs of each customer. The herbal teas are accompanied by supplements, teas (white, red, black,
green) mixes for liqueurs, natural cosmetics and honeys.
The 37-herb liqueur “Toccasana Negro” was born in the herbalist's shop, formulated by the founder
